Uffta! So many details! and on my main character too! I always do that. “Hey let’s draw a million seashells!” “Let’s make a spiky seed with 7,000 spines on it” “Hmm, let’s go for the time period where everybody has insanely patterned clothes and then tell stories about people who also have crazy patterned clothes too!” “Yea those all sound like great ideas!”

And they all turn out to be my favorite pieces because of the crazy details. I guess I’m just insanity walking.

P.s. Darn it! Batman got hidden behind that kid!

Hinduism In A Nutshell

Sketch today! I’ve been learning about Hinduism all day today, and yesterday, and last week in prep for the upcoming story. So now you know we’ll be visiting there! Hinduism is confusing… all those long names that I skip over seem to be important or something but they’re like a yard long. Too much to read. Besides, seeing Shiva dancing madly and breaking everything poor Brahma makes while OCD Vishnu gets mad at him is a lot more interesting anyway.

And~ I realize I didn’t update on Thurs. Apologies! I will try not to keep doing that but next week summer semester begins (I’m taking watercolor! ^_^)((also my first summer class ever ‘_’;;)) so I will probably miss more but I will try for at least one comic a week and concepts the rest (and maybe some still lives)

I’m still working on the Peddler’s Tale. Concepts tomorrow for that. There’s so much to research and I’m itching to start so I might start it up since I’ve got most of the beginning story done. (I think haha)

With all the panic about nuclear plants’ radioactive water, I would not be surprised if tiny godzillas would be found in a few months. Then again Japan’s been through that already so it probably wouldn’t be a big deal. Like “Eh, we’ve got a 9ft tall monster trying to take over a small town- whoop-de-doo… That happens like once a week.”

Check your pool filters often…

One of the horrors of landscaping is checking pool filters after a really hot dry weekend. There’s always a load of the poor little froggies in there. I try to save as many as I can but you know it’s too late for the ones who’s stomachs are inside out…

On a brighter note, it’s spring! and in wisconsin it snowed today again.

I started doing a little drawing here and then in the middle of it I thought…. I feel like I’ve been here before… in Minecraft. And so while drawing this I was trying not to make everything square. This is for those adventurers who don’t use a compass. You know that feeling- sun is setting, you’re far from home, and you’re almost out of arrows. So what did you do? Bury yourself. Because back in the day we didn’t have no stinking ‘beds’ to just skip night. No- we had to sleep in the dirt and we liked it!
